WALKING TRACK TO REMAIN OPEN: The walking track was initially closed as part of the general closure of City parks because it intertwined with the ball parks and playground. After further consideration, we will keep the walking track open to the public since it is an open air facility, “social distance” is easily maintained and no large groups are in close proximity. This will provide an outdoor venue for folks while so much else is closed or closing. We will tape off the playground area and ask that people respect its closure. The playground with all its hard surfaces would be easy locations for the virus to accumulate. We are all in this together and hopefully common sense will prevail. (This also includes the Moton Park Walking Track.) ~Mayor David Miller
