Leeds Senior Center Update

We hope to see you this week at the Leeds Senior Center! Note the special event for Thursday – Lunch at the Botanical Gardens. Since we will be offsite, the Center will be closed on Thursday.

Also, to celebrate our one-year anniversary of being in our renovated facility we are having ice cream (with all the toppings) on Monday. “I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream” is a line of the song titled “Ice Cream” first published in 1927.

It’s a great time to come to the Center!

HERE’S OUR SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 13 – JUNE 17, 2022

Monday, June 13 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Ice Cream Celebration
• Bible Study (12:15) – The Gospel of John

Tuesday, June 14 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Dominos, BUNCO, Banana Grams, Phase 10, Sequence and other games
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Let the games continue

Wednesday, June 15 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person

• Line Dancing – 12:30 (a fun time is had by all)

Thursday, June 16 – The Center will be Closed

• Lunch (11:30) – at Birmingham Botanical Gardens - RSVP is required
• Deadline to RSVP is Monday, June 13
• We will leave the Center between 10:45 and 11:00
• Everyone is responsible for paying for their own lunch
