Railway & Locomotive Historical Society Presentation | The platform and decks at the Leeds train depot were in serious need of repair and had become dangerous to walk on. The City of Leeds stepped in to have them repaired or replaced. Three individuals were contracted to replace and rebuild, David Tice, Josh Tice and Jeremy Deason.

James Lowery with the Mid-South Chapter of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society attended Monday night’s City Council meeting and formally recognized the City of Leeds and these three individuals in appreciation for complete replacement of the depot platform.

Two plaques have been installed at the depot recognizing these efforts.
