The Grove School is a new private school located in Leeds, Alabama. Here is a great letter from Mandy Fox, Director:
This week the students have gone on a week long tour to learn more about the community. This new school is excited to be a part of the growth and progress in the Leeds community. The purpose of the tour was to help students learn more about the history, businesses, and leaders of the Leeds community. In an effort to learn more, students visited the fire and police stations, city hall, the mayor's office, historical sites, established businesses who have helped build Leeds, new businesses who have moved to Leeds such as Viperline Solutions, Bass Pro Shop, Barber Motorsports, and The Red Barn. By visiting these locations, teachers and students were seeking to know our community. Community leaders were asked for input regarding the school's plan to create a community garden area, in partnership with Earthborn Pottery. The goal is to provide a farm to table opportunity for the Leeds community and its businesses. The Grove School wants to thank Mayor David Miller for helping the students start their tour with loads of helpful information and the exciting new things coming to Leeds in the future. Thank you Mayor Miller for your service to our community! The Grove School students and staff look forward to the ways they can bless the city of Leeds!
Thank you both for helping The Grove School! We are so thankful.
