Nationwide Test of the Emergency Alert System

Jefferson County EMA Message: On Wednesday August 7th at 1:20 p.m. CDT, FEMA will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System on TVs & radios.

This 1-minute test will be done in coordination with emergency managers, radio/TV/cable operators & the FCC.
