National Weather Service Advisory

The National Weather Service is predicting significant rainfall next week that has the potential to cause significant flooding in the City. Residents are advised to take action now to protect life and property. If you live in a designated flood zone – visit https://msc.fema.gov/portal/search to see if your address falls within such an area – or an area prone to localized flooding you should be prepared to take action.

This event has the potential to cause localized flooding in areas that are outside designated flood zones. If predictions hold true, rainfall will exceed the design criteria for many storm drainage structures in the City, causing flash flooding.
