Leeds Senior Update

The month of August is known for the Dog Days of Summer, and for National Smile Week. Most importantly, August 21 is National Senior Citizen Day! We will be celebrating on Monday, August 23. On Thursday, August 26, it’s a Birthday Celebration. A fun week is ahead at Leeds Senior Center! Come and join us.

Here’s our schedule for the week of August 23

Monday, August 23 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
• We will celebrate National Senior Citizen Day!!
• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Bible Study (12:15) – The Gospel of John
• BINGO (12:15)

Tuesday, August 24 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
• BUNCO, Banana Grams, Phase 10, Sequence and other games 10:00 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Let the games continue

Wednesday, August 25 – open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
• Exercise 10:45 to 11:30
• Lunch (11:30) – cost $2 per person
• Art for Everyone!
• Tai Chi (1:30)

Thursday, August 26 – Happy Birthday, August!
*We will celebrate our August Birthdays.
• Let the Celebration Begin – 12:00 Noon
• Lunch will be catered by The Three Earred Rabbit at Noon (that’s a time change)
• The cost for lunch is $2 per person and RSVP is required
