Leeds Community Cleanup 2019 was a huge success. As you know, our very own Leeds High School students led the way with this year’s cleanup event in participation with the Jefferson County Litter Quitters Committee. These students along with other volunteers, picked up plenty of trash. In addition to trash pickup, they captured tones of footage for their competition video project. Desmond Parker, Ed.S., Leeds High School Science Department, coordinated the event. We wish the students well in their competition and thank everyone who came out to work this event. This is just another example of why Leeds is such a great community, we care about Leeds!
